The Art of American Folk Music
For the last four decades, perhaps no other single music venue has done more to promote the art of American folk music and songwriting than Club Passim. Its legacy is simply astounding; Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Tom Rush, Greg Brown, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, Bonnie Raitt, and Taj Mahal are just some of the many respected artists who have found at Club Passim a home for nurturing their vision and craft.

About the Passim Center and the Passim School of Music
The Passim School of Music offers students of all levels a number of ways to learn. Students study in classes, private and semi-private lessons, workshops and master classes. The curriculum is specially designed to provide not only expert instruction, but also a supportive community of fellow students and instructors.
What's more, the Passim Center is the center of a diverse folk music community, comprised of national and local artists, industry figures, members, and audiences. As such, we see it as a vital part of our mission to provide our community with not only the best in performances, but also the best in music education.
